Mercy Corps is an international NGO implementing programs in Aceh, Sumatra,
Jakarta and Maluku. With over 200 staff and a 4-year plan for programs in Aceh,
Mercy Corps is looking for a strong individual that will provide leadership and
direction to the program teams in BANDA ACEH. If you are ready to apply your

FINANCIAL ACCESS MANAGER (BANDA ACEH)

Position Summary:
Financial Access Program (FinAP) aims to successfully enable Acehnese micro
and small entrepreneurs to access commercial financial services and to build the
capacity of financial providers to serve this population. This position is a
senior management position that will have primary responsibility for managing,
coordinating and overseeing FinAP team, ensuring that Microfinance Development
Projects support improved Access to Financial Services for Small and Micro
Entrepreneurs and the development of local production for local consumption;
overseeing the delivery of Technical Assistance to Microfinance Institutions;
reporting to donors; and identifying program development opportunities. The
Financial Access Manager will report to the Economic Development Manager and
have overall responsibility for field-level program activity identification,
implementation and monitoring of the Financial Access Program

Qualification:
This is a senior role requiring a minimum of 7 years of experience in banking,
microfinance, or business development. Must have proven ability to manage a
team and deliver results. Experience in project management, business planning,
and analysis is an advantage. University degree in business, management,
economics, or finance is preferred. Ability to provide staff oversight and
support, write reports; represent FinAP externally, analyze institutions and
needs, and provide training is required.
The chosen candidate shall be able to write clear and concise work plans,
project proposals and donor reports. Strong computer and organizational skills;
good spoken and written English; willingness to travel throughout the project
areas in Aceh is important. Flexibility and willingness to work in rapidly
changing conditions is necessary.

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER (BANDA ACEH)

Position Summary:
Administrative Manager is in charge of Ensure adherence to Mercy Corps
administrative procedures by support staff Assist in ensuring the smooth flowing
of routine, administrative work of the Mercy Corps office and program support
operations. Specifically the Human Resources, Travel, Translation, Office/House
Maintenance, Leases, Security and Reception, In coordination with the Operations
Manager, prepare and implement guidelines for the operation of programme support
functions; in particular, the functions of IT, Human Resources, reception,
photocopies and mail services, travel, translation services, oversight of
property management including supervision of cook and cleaners and office
maintenance, Maintain spreadsheet of expatriate staff in Aceh including visa and
other legal documentation

Qualification:
Minimum 3 years experience with office administration and Human Resources
function, must be an independent thinker and have strong organizational skills;
demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team. Fluency in
English and Bahasa Indonesian (written and spoken)
Willingness and ability to work effectively with wide variety of people, work
as a part of team and coordinate with Administration personnel

FinAP ADVISOR MICRO FINANCE INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT ( BANDA ACEH)

Position Summary:
Financial Access Advisor will work with the FinAP Manager and the rest of the
FinAP team to successfully enable Acehenese micro and small entrepreneurs to
access commercial financial services. Identify potential MFI partners and
conduct preliminary appraisal on them, Once partners are identified, act as key
contact point with these institutions, Identify training and TA needs for
further discussion with FinAP Manager and request external resources as
appropriate, Once a commitment for a more comprehensive work develop prepare
work and activity plan agreed by MFI and FinAP, Coordinate and monitor process
of Financial Review and TA implementation for them, Routinely evaluate MFIs and
provide reports to FinAP Manager, Responsible for the project when consultant
are engage with the longer term work, Maintain evaluation of consultant when
engage and continuously discuss with FinAP Manager when needed, Provide daily
support and mentoring to partner MFIs on Credit Risk, Help MFI
to identify new potential clients

Qualifications include:
At least a University degree in business, management, economics or
finance, Experience required with either banks, microfinance institutions, or
private business at a management/supervisory level is essential, Must be able to
work independently and show initiative, Understand General Banking Operation is
a plus, Understand Marketing and Loan Officer function, Business Analysis and
risk management is essential, Experience of business planning and analysis is a
plus, Demonstrated ability to analyze Microfinance Institutions, assess needs
and training skills is preferred, Good spoken and written English is preferred
